        Dear Children of this Holy Nation -

3.9.
Therefore, the mother being the first experience of comfort, protection and nourishment of the new Jivatma is the first benefactor. Then the father, being the giver of your life—you are an extension of him—enables the mother to devote all her time to you.

By his exertion and hard labour he brings home the food and keeps the pot boiling in the kitchen and mother is without any worry and able to look after the child. Though it is indirect activity, it is the Seva and exertions on the part of the father that makes everything possible and
therefore ‘Pitri devo bhava.’
